If you are a registered student or instructor of record, you do not need to request an account; one has been created for you automatically. New student accounts in Blackboard are created approximately 2 weeks before the start of the term.
Course "shells" will be automatically created for all courses listed in the Banner student information system. Students will be enrolled and dropped automatically in these courses, according to their enrollments in Banner. Please see the Blackboard Policies document at the Blackboard Support site for more information. Courses are made available by the instructors. Not all courses will use Blackboard. Those that do will generally not be available until the first day of the term.
